It’s Christmas Eve, what better way to start the next few days with a gorgeous shave, taking my time to get all the areas necessary.

I gave the Rockwell a go up on the dome. First time for is, the Lupo makes more noise that the Rockwell. The audible feedback is diminished with the Rockwell. It adjusts the way I shave, however the additional weight means less work on my behalf adjusting the pressure.

So a great shave all up for a good couple of days.

Today was a bit of a longer shave today. It’s the second use for the Rockwell 6C, and I’m still working out which plate works best. So far the Rockwell has only been a face razor. Last time I used Plate 3, this time was Plate 4. A decent shave combination, obviously I am working out the best combination of blades and razor plate for the Rockwell.

I’ve narrowed down the dome to the Razorock Lupo with any half decent blade (Feather & Wizamet), so that will be my go to unless I want to mix things up, which I might with the new Rockwell.

I’m not going to share anything about this shave. It was an uneventful shave, that did the job on a slightly sunburnt head. Time to start wearing a hat outdoors.

I really wasn’t in the mood for a full head and face shave. So of the two, the head won and received a full shave. A couple of nicks, but nothing major. Maybe the face can be part of a mid-week shave.
